●Shark small pattern●
It appears plain at first glance, but a delicate pattern emerges as you get closer.
The "Shark Komon" pattern, which has been passed down since the Edo period, is made up of small dots arranged to resemble shark skin, and was the standard small crest of the Shimazu clan.
●Small cherry blossom crest●
It is a cute pattern that literally features small cherry blossoms scattered all over the surface.
Cherry blossom patterns include "weeping cherry blossoms" and "double cherry blossoms," depending on the type.
Cherry blossoms have been featured in waka poetry and paintings since ancient times, and when people talk about flowers, they are referring to cherry blossoms.
When wrapping something, the knots in the furoshiki allow the color and pattern on the inside to show through, and when unfolded, the color and pattern on the inside take center stage. Enjoy this hidden style.
