●Shark small pattern●
It appears plain at first glance, but a delicate pattern emerges as you get closer.
The "Shark Komon" pattern, which has been passed down since the Edo period, is made up of small dots arranged to resemble shark skin, and was the standard small crest of the Shimazu clan.

●Hemp Leaf●
It is a geometric pattern based on a regular hexagon, so named because its shape resembles hemp leaves, and its beautiful design has become a representative Japanese pattern.
Hemp is strong and grows straight and tall, so it was customary to use it for baby clothes.

When wrapping something in a furoshiki, the color and pattern on the back can be seen through the knots, and when unfolded, the color and pattern on the back become the main focus.
Enjoy the hidden charm.
